ARTISTS
Gordon Wallace
Talented and knowledgeable artist of many mediums with a BSc in computer animation and digital art.
Born and raised in Scotland, I have been drawing since about 5 years old. By high school I had developed an interest in science and history, as well as art. As a result I am someone who is not afraid of a paintbrush, pencil or screwdriver. I have made and designed animations, videos, books, posters, and written various things fiction and non-fiction.
I have learned a lot of things about many things, from aardvarks to ZZ Top, and I'm willing to pass on what I learned to anyone who is interested.

Examples of my work can be viewed here - https://gordonwallaceart.blogspot.com/

Gordon Wallace is available for private bookings

Available on most weekends from 10am to 6pm. But other times can be arranged.
Drawing, painting, photography, filmmaking, creative writing, animation, graphic design, etc.
If a service is not listed, just ask. I might be able to do it.

This is a love scene that is inspired by a Chinese show I am currently watching: The forbidden flower. I took it as an opportunity to expand my knowledge and learn how to draw two whole bodies profiles and practice on how to draw a hand for the fist time! The most difficult part was to find the exact distance for her hand to fall into his. I hope it evokes love to all of you. Many friends have requested a follow up to this Confession saga, so I am currently working on The Answer to The Confessio

While visiting the local reclaimed wetlands at Mawson Lakes my son and I spotted and photographed a number of the birds and environment which I compiled into watercolour art. We have had a very dry summer and are awaiting much needed rain.

Title or Location: Relax and Feel the Calm
This is a water color painting based on a photo I took last year when visiting MT. Love the wide open spaces and the beautiful sky. This photo was taken while sitting and relaxing along a river in Bigfork. Love to enjoy the views and then incorporate into my paintings. Water colors are such a great choice for landscapes because of the way they flow and blend together just like nature.

At the age of 49, I decided to learn to paint. I have never even sketched or painted in my life. I love watercolor paintings so I started with that and I found that I love it. In February I committed to the 100 Day Project movement with D. Michelle Perry on her 100 Days of Wonder group. Each week she was giving us our Words of Wonder for each day. Day 35 was "Dew". I had already practiced water droplets for fun so I wanted to use them in a close up image of a leaf with dew on it. Th

Title or Location: Cheerful Cardinal Upon a Teacup
I painted this cardinal happily perched on a teacup as a reminder. Through all of the stress and busyness of life it is so easy to get caught up in overthinking and ignore the small beautiful moments all around us like savoring a warm cup of tea, or noticing a tiny vibrant bird outside our window. 9x12 Watercolor
